 Soft Kai Lan doll for your child to adoreJul 09, 2009

It's been a long time coming.... or maybe it just seems like a long time since Kai Lan toys and books finally came out!
This soft Kai Lan doll is made of soft cloth and has the word the Chinese Mandarin character Giggly on her shirt. Kai Lan also comes with a Chinese character Giggly charm big plastic charm which is suppose to be a Jade charm for your child to wear. Other than the purple hair bows everything on her head is sewed on. So, I know Fisher Price strives to make safe toys for our children.... just watch your children and the bows.
Fisher Price also came out with other Kai Lan dolls: Kai Lan Sweet (she is winking with one eye and has a pink shirt), Kai Lan Silly ( has both eyes open and has a green shirt) all dolls come with a "Jade" necklace with the same Chinese character.
PS: Check your local stores, you might be able to find this cheaper so you don't have to pay extra shipping or hopefully Amazon will carry it directly. I just really dislike when sellers jack-up the price. I understand about making some money.... but come on, you know what I mean. Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox.

I guess I should have read better because I assumed "giggly" meant she made sounds. She's very cute though.

I got this for my sister for Christmas she is three years old. And she loves Ni Hao.
Its so funny she walks around with her eyes closed like she laughing so she can mock the
doll. Overall i'm happy because she is happy it turned out to be a great gift.

My daughter LOVES Kai Lan, but for some reason she couldn't care less about this little doll. It's well made and I think it's really cute. Guess you can't win them all.
